Abstract:
Market Tower in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a 32-story, 568,000-ftý (52,800-mý) office tower. The design of this building successfully integrates the creative synthesis of architectural design with cost-effective structural concepts. Conventionally reinforced concrete construction using wide-module pan joists for the floor framing along with shearwall/partial tube interaction for lateral load resistance best met the owner's functional and budgetary requirements.
