Abstract:
Experimental and analytical investigations of simplified models of concrete to study strength and deformation behavior of plain concrete subjected to uniaxial and biaxial short-term compressive stresses. Observed strength, gross and local deformations, microcracking, and mode of failure compared with indications of finite element analysis.
