Abstract:
A report of laboratory and field investigations attack by slightly acid waters flowing past but not through the body of concrete structures with particular reference to pipes. quality of concrete, Laws are developed which relate length of exposure, strength of acid, loss of lime, and surface-volume ratio of structure with extent of attack.
