This course will be of interest to design engineers, contractors, formwork engineers and manufacturers, and others interested in concrete formwork construction practices. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from design and construction formwork successes as well as unsuccessful projects and learn about the various types of formwork, formwork shoring and reshoring sequencing, formwork economics, formwork troubleshooting, tolerances, formwork inspection, formwork deficiencies and safety issues during design and construction of formwork operations.
