Description
This module is based on Chapter 8 from The Contractor's Guide to Quality Concrete Construction. It addresses joints and reinforcement for slab-on-ground on construction projects. Specific sections deal with various types of joints, joint spacing and placement, reinforcement, dowels, tie bars, and fiber reinforcement. This document was edited by Anthony Lamanna and reviewed and approved by ACI E703 – Concrete Construction Practices and the ACI Educational Activities Committee.
