Community resiliency remains at the forefront of national, state, and local policies and programs and continues to be a consideration for owners of infrastructure and facilities with large service or production volumes. The path to resiliency requires an understanding of the intent, criteria, adoption, and enforcement of building codes and standards. Though they emphasize buildings, the general concepts of resilient design and construction are applicable to all infrastructure components.
