Description
This is a recorded webinar from April 7, 2020.
If you have been in the concrete industry long enough, there is a good chance you’ve had a concrete placement exposed to rain. Scheduling demands often force contractors to work with rain events rather than cancel placements. If a rain event occurs during a placement, concrete can still be placed safely if the rain event is handled properly. This presentation will discuss how different stages of placing and finishing are affected by a rain event and what options are available to contractors at each stage. Preventative actions and the development of a wet weather plan will be discussed. Repair options will also be covered for those placements that have been affected by rain.
