The American Concrete Institute is excited to be exhibiting at the 2015 National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) Structural Engineering Summit, at the Red Rock Resort, Las Vegas, NV, September 30 – October 3, 2015. With a theme of “Take Your Practice to New Heights,” the summit draws together structural engineers, students, and companies providing products and services to structural engineers, and features educational sessions specific to structural engineering, such as “BIM and Structural Engineering,” “Building Rating, Retrofit Ordinances, and Community Resilience,” “Quality Assurance for Structural Engineering Firms,” and more. Stop by ACI Booth 143 to learn more about ACI resources including the new Guide to the Code for Evaluation, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Concrete Buildings. Staff will have display copies available to review and will be able to answer specific technical questions. The new Guide, published jointly by the American Concrete Institute and the International Concrete Repair Institute, provides guidance and assistance to professionals engaged in the repair of concrete buildings. The manual has been developed to serve as an invaluable companion to ACI 562-13 Code Requirements for Evaluation, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Concrete Buildings. Learn more about the Guide. ACI invites all attendees to visit its booth to learn more about all ACI resources for structural engineers, including the upcoming ACI Reinforced Concrete Design Manual, and ACI 318-14: Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete and Commentary. ACI previously exhibited at the summit in 2013 and 2014, aligning with its strategic plan objective to establish and expand strong and productive relationships with external organizations and individuals.
