Committee Mission: Develop, review, and maintain requirements in ASME BPVC Section III, Division 2 (ACI Standard 359) governing the design and construction of concrete containments, with metallic liners.
Goals: Develop and maintain a user-friendly Code that can be applied internationally, recognizes and uses modern construction and design methodologies, considers the design life of the component or system, maintains appropriate margins of safety, and provides separate administrative and technical requirements.
