D75/T2 Sampling aggregates
C422/T88 Particle size analysis of soils
C702/T248 Reducing samples of aggregates to testing size
D2216/T265 Laboratory determination of moisture content of soils
D421/T87 Dry preparation of disturbed soil and soil aggregate samples for test D1557/T180 Moisture-density relations of soils using a 10-lb rammer and 18-in drop
D4318/T89 Determining the liquid limits of soils
D698/T99 Moisture-density relations of soils using a 5.5-lb rammer and 12-in drop
D4318/T90 Determining the plastic limit and plasticity index of soils

The two-hour written examination is open book and consists of approximately 100 multiple-choice questions. The required passing grade for the written examination is at least 60% correct for each of the required standards and a minimum score of 70% overall.
