The American Concrete Institute announced the deadline to submit projects for the 2016 Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards has been extended to Tuesday, March 15, 2016. The global competition is open to those who have won awards at a local level through a sponsoring ACI Chapter or nominated by an ACI International Partner. The Excellence Awards were created to honor the visions of the most creative and innovative projects the concrete world has to offer. Entries can be submitted in the following six categories: Low-rise buildings Tall buildings Flatwork Infrastructure Decorative concrete Repair/restoration Download the Call for Entries to obtain full rules, project award details, and an entry form. Chapters that do not have a projects awards program still are eligible to submit entries for up to 3 years while a local awards program is developed and launched using the ACI Chapter Project Awards Guide.
