The American Concrete Institute announces that it has increased its funding of the ACI Foundation by providing an additional $500,000 of annual mission funding and fully covering all operational expenses. "The additional funds approved by ACI Board will have a strategic impact on the concrete industry in the U.S. and globally. It opens the doors widely for more scholarships, more fellowships, and more research,” stated Khaled Awad, President, American Concrete Institute. “It will substantially increase the ACI Foundation’s ability to foster innovation and promote new technologies, while ensuring that 100% of contributions from ACI members, current partners, and new future partners will be used on mission-driven programs.
