ACI and the Greater Miami Valley Chapter – ACI are proud to host the ACI Convention this fall at the Duke Energy Convention Center and Hyatt Regency Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH, USA, October 20-24, 2019. The ACI Convention is the world’s gathering place for advancing concrete knowledge. Register Now The convention program includes more than 40 technical and educational sessions that provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about concrete research, case studies, and best practices. By attending these convention sessions, attendees can earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and/or Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Sessions include: Fragility Assessment of Earthquake-Resistant Reinforced Concrete Bridges Concrete with Recycled Materials Innovation in Architectural Precast and Decorative Concrete National Veterans Memorial and Museum View all sessions During convention week, more than 300 committees will meet to develop the codes, specifications, practices, and other resources necessary to keep up with the ever-changing world of concrete technology. These individuals work to improve the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete projects. Committee meetings are open to all registered convention attendees. The convention also provides several opportunities to build your professional network. Visit the exhibit hall to learn more about the products and services offered by exhibitors. Connect with attendees during one of the networking events like the Opening Reception, Concrete Mixer, and President’s Reception.
