The American Concrete Institute will be hosting the 2021 Professors' Workshop virtually on July 19-21, 2021. This virtual event, sponsored by the ACI Foundation, will consist of one four-hour time block for each of the three days. The workshop is designed to provide instructors in civil engineering, architecture, architectural engineering, materials science, and construction management programs the latest tools and teaching techniques to effectively engage students in courses that cover structural concrete design, construction, materials, and pavements. Although the workshop will be presented fully online, the primary focus is to provide teaching resources that are suited for both online and face-to-face formats. Several interactive workshop sessions are also planned that will allow participants to explore ideas for improving the delivery of their concrete courses. One participant of last year’s virtual Professors’ Workshop stated that, “This workshop has come at an opportune time as I have to rewrite some courses and prepare for online lectures. This has been a great value.” Prominent, nationally known faculty and industry representatives will also present information on proven teaching methods and instructional resources, as well as updates on the latest industry technical information and trends. For more information regarding registration and scheduling or to read testimonials from past workshop attendees, visit concrete.org/events/professorsworkshop. ### For more information, contact: Julie.Webb@concrete.org Marketing p +1.248.848.3148 American Concrete Institute | Always advancing www.concrete.org Always advancing – The American Concrete Institute is a leading global authority for the development, dissemination, and adoption of its consensus-based standards, technical resources, and educational, training, & certification programs.
