The American Concrete Institute recently exhibited at the Structural Engineers Association of Michigan (SEAMi) annual conference on August 19, 2021, in East Lansing, Michigan. SEAMi is an organization whose mission is to provide state-of-the-art training in the Structural Engineering industry to engineers to provide state-of-the-art practice to the public.
During the show, ACI Engineer, Robert Howell, along with the ACI Greater Michigan Chapter members Marshall Grazioli and Anil Sanne, talked with attendees about the Institute’s many resources and membership benefits. Robert Howell presented in the afternoon on the ACI CODE-562-19, Code Requirements for Assessment, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Existing Concrete Structures and Commentary providing details on the content of the code and its benefit to the design professional, owner, contractor and code official.
