The American Concrete Institute is pleased to announce continued naming financial support for the Roger H. Corbetta Concrete Constructor Award. The award is given annually to an individual or an organization who, or which, as a constructor, has made significant contributions to progress in methods of concrete construction. This award was established in 1972 in recognition of Roger H. Corbetta, past president of the Institute. The Roger H. Corbetta Concrete Constructor Award received continued naming financial support from the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), Ruttura & Sons, and Baker Concrete Construction in 2022. Continuing the name of this prestigious award is a fitting recognition of Roger’s creative leadership, his many outstanding contributions to the use of concrete for construction, and many other building associations. Additionally, continuing the naming financial support of this award strengthens ACI’s Honors and Awards program, maintaining an important category of recognition to individuals in our industry who strive to provide expert knowledge and encouragement to a new generation of engineers, designers, and contractors. More information regarding the ACI Awards Program may be found here.
