On October 23-27, 2022, the ACI Concrete Convention was attended both in-person and virtually by over 2,500 professionals and students from around the world.
The convention in Dallas, Texas, was host to researchers, practitioners, and leaders throughout the concrete industry. These individuals work to improve the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete projects. The convention also provided a forum for networking, education, and an opportunity to provide input on ACI codes, specifications, and guides.
More than 300 committee meetings, 53 technical and educational sessions, and 100+ hours of industry-leading concrete learning were available to attendees.

During the Opening Session ACI President Charles Nmai discussed how the ACI Resource Centers continue to support Sponsoring Groups and Chapters in meeting demand for ACI knowledge throughout some of the largest construction markets in the United States.

During the ACI Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards, an international celebration of concrete design and construction, 15 awards were given out to winning projects for their exceptional use of concrete. You can view all the winning projects and their project teams on the ACI website.
The Concrete Mixer was held at Gilley’s Dallas on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. More than 1,500 convention attendees registered for this western-style networking event.
