Abstract:
At the outset it seems no more than fair to explain that I do not wish to pose as an expert in the field of concrete design. Experience in the design of structures where concrete has been employed in both a structural and decorative sense has been limited. Concrete comes into view of the architect as one of an ever increasing list of building materials with which he has to deal.
