Abstract:
This discussion of the types of release agents used to separate formwork from hardened concrete includes an overview of the chemical properties of the compounds that allow them to work. Practical guidelines on application, with tips on spraying, pressure, and temperature, are provided. Emphasis on the environmental impact concerns with the use of these products is also stressed.
