Abstract:
Advantages of explosive driven fastenings in concrete, their application, energy sources, design prinicples and mechanics of the connections are presented. Influencing factors such as aggregate and compressive strength are discussed and supported by test data reduced to simple graphs. Tables describe recommended safe working loads in shear, tension and reistance to vibration. . .The conclusions support the economy and portability of such systems.
