Abstract:
For the last few years, study and practice on superplasticized concrete have been conducted in order to reduce water content in high-slump concrete commonly used for building construction in Japan. This report discusses properties of superplasticized concrete containing naphthalene-sulphonate-formaldehyde consdensate superplasticizer and describes the state-of-art of superplasticized concrete in Japan.
