Abstract:
This paper describes and its figures show use of efficient, simple strike-off slip-forms for placing well-consolidated, accurately-surfaced concrete on slopes too flat, to form. Data on concrete mixes used in some examples are tabulated. Some notes are included on equipment, for horizontal paving other than for highways.
