Abstract:
Sampling is a most important link in the chain of events in construction ‘by which final decisions and conclusions involving millions of dollars are made dai-ly. Unfortunately, it has not received the attention it deserves. Its usefulness is outlined and attention is drawn to its proper procedures and references to these details are given.
