Description
This introductory session for the Constructability Certificate Program will define constructability, explain how constructable design can have a significant impact on jobsite productivity, and review different project delivery options and how they impact the design approach. It will include discussion of contemporary construction systems, how Codes and Standards are “rulebooks” and not “playbooks” or design guides, and how information sharing between designers and contractors improves constructability.
