Description
This course is useful to design engineers, owners, concrete producers, and students that are involved or want to know more about modeling the service life of concrete exposed to chlorides. The differences between deterministic and probabilistic approaches will be addressed.

1. Analyze how aging factors influence long-term durability predictions in concrete structures.
2. Develop strategies to model and modify the aging factor to reflect real-world conditions.
3. Discuss the implications of using different supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and the importance of making conservative assumptions about aging factors to ensure reliable service life predictions in various concrete applications.
